Here we will be compiling resources to help us pray together at home. This will be updated regularly, so check back often!
St James’ Prayer Diary – 22/06/20 (Updated weekly)
Many of us will be familiar with the 24/7 prayer movement, where churches commit to continuous prayer for a set period of time. At St James’, we want our prayers to be a continuous act of worship and petition to our God.
We recognise that people are facing all sorts of challenges and concerns at the moment, and we would like to cover these with prayer. Every day we will have a different focus to help guide our prayers. You can find the diary below:
|Monday 22nd June||Thanksgiving for God’s goodness|
|Tuesday 23rd June||Peace and comfort following Saturday’s attack|
|Wednesday 24th June||Provision for those who struggle financially|
|Thursday 25th June||For our next-door neighbours|
|Friday 26th June||Wisdom for our government|
|Saturday 27th June||Comfort for the bereaved|
|Sunday 28th June||For our worshipping community|
