St James Puppet Team ‘Hands of Hope’ was formed in 2003.
The group meets each Wednesday evening to practice.
Aims:
- To share Jesus with others through our puppetry (our hands)
- To give young people opportunities to grow in confidence, build friendships and participate and contribute in services becoming a valued part of the church family.
We usually perform at services at St James – usually all-age services, Messy Church, Christmas and Easter services. The puppets also perform at other church events eg: Hero Party, Toddlers. We have also performed at Woodley Carnival and the Winter Extravaganza.
