As our story of Joshua comes to an end we see the Israelites settle in the land God had promised them when they left Egpyt all those many many years before.
Look what it says:
The lord kept every promise he had made to the Israelites; each one came true.
Joshua 21:45
What is a promise?
a declaration or assurance that one will do something or that a particular thing will happen.

When God makes us a promise we know He will keep it – He is God – he only speaks truth, he doesn’t change his mind, and because of his infinite wisdom he only makes the best possible promises.
We can have faith and trust God to do what only God can do – He keeps his promises. Find out what happened with Abraham and Sarah.
