Summer Photography Competitions
Over Summer 2022 we hosted our first Photographic Competition. Open to all ages we asked entrants to send us their pictures of the natural world. There was an amazing response and some lovely interpretations of the natural world
The pictures were displayed and winners announced at Eco Church’s first Eco Open Afternoon. There were also activities for families, WASP’s (Woodley Adopt a Street) group encouraging litter picking in Woodley, Binfield Badgers, along with eco sellers including Posy , Windy Mill, and a SWAP’s table giving ideas where you can swap your current item for something more environmentally friendly.

A huge thank you to all who entered, and to all who supported our open afternoon on 1st October 2022.
As the first Photography Competition was so well received, we decided to open up a second one in 2023. This time the theme was ‘PATTERNS IN NATURE’. Again we received some amazing photos.
We hosted a second Open Afternoon and our guest speaker and prize presenter was The Bishop of Reading, The Rt Revd Olivia Graham. Bishop Olivia gave an amazing speech on ‘Climate Change’. This has spurred us on to higher, greater and more environmentally friendly things……..
