50th Anniversary

50th Anniversary – News

It’s fair to say that our anniversary year didn’t go quite as expected! Due to the coronavirus, we have been forced to cancel or postpone most of our celebration events. Despite everything, we continue to be incredibly grateful to God for this important milestone in the life of St James’ Church, and remember with joy the events we were able to hold!

Our celebrations began with an event on 30th November 2019. To view the event report and photos click here.

50th Anniversary – Upcoming Events

St James’ Flower Festival

3rd – 5th July 2020 (Postponed)

This event was due to take place in summer, and was going to be a celebration of creation, colour and creativity. We planned it in collaboration with the local schools, our MP, and the wider community. We’re hoping to reschedule our Flower Festival for summer 2021!

Church Away Day at the Ark

3rd October 2020 (Postponed)

We were hoping to spend a day together as a church at St Andrew’s in Sonning, praying together and planning for the future. This event will go ahead when we’re able to next year.
