Small Groups

Small groups are a really important level of church providing the opportunity to learn together through Bible Study, pray together, enjoy each other’s company and support one another in ways that can’t really be found at the Sunday morning service scale.

Currently there are 7 groups meeting. Over the last year all the groups have followed their individual programmes but have also embraced two seasons when the same centrally produced materials were employed. During Lent the groups explored in more detail the “2020 Vision” statements and, in the period between Easter and Pentecost, looked at “what it means to be a disciple”.

During the last year the profile of Small Groups has been raised, and folk encouraged to join in with 2 new groups starting up. The groups meet at a variety of times and locations, both within and outside the parish, and aim to be open and welcoming to new members.

Evening groups meet on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with a daytime group getting together on a Thursday morning.

Further information is available from Pete Clarke (Church Warden) via the Church Office.

There are currently 7 small groups which meet regularly either in people’s homes or in the church. In our groups we learn together through Bible Study, pray together, enjoy each other’s company and support one another.
