Operation Christmas Child 2017

In 2017 St James has once again supported the Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal.

Leaflets are now available on the table in the lounge. There are also some spare shoeboxes if you need one and some items that have been donated.

Please take some for your boxes. Shoeboxes need to be returned to St James on 5th November 2017.

Any questions please ask Linda Galpin.

Or you can print a shoebox packing leaflet by clicking here, and see FAQs by clicking here.

UPDATE: Our support for the 2017 appeal saw 86 filled shoeboxes sent from our congregation, our Messy Church and some from Woodley Baptist church. Thank you. This year our shoeboxes were among 77,709 delivered to Liberia, and part of a total 678,942 sent to children in Eastern Europe, Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East.  Click here for more details of what this has meant for the children of Liberia.
