Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." - Matthew 11:28-29
Lent takes place this year from 17th February until 3rd April.
Lent is the season when Christians around the world prepare for Easter. We seek to meet with Jesus through self-examination, penitence (saying sorry), self-denial, and the study of the Gospel.
To help us all to do this, we are starting a new six week series throughout Lent looking at some key events in Jesus’ life. Uploaded here every Tuesday by 6pm will be some reflections on a passage, plus opportunities for us to wonder and ask questions about our own relationships with Jesus. There will also be helpful ways to pray and to worship.
