Saturday 28th November @ 4pm – Stir Up Saturday
Join us on Zoom for a collective pudding making event, or just for a chat! This is something we do every year together, and it’s always loads of fun. If you require the link and recipes, simply contact Laurence.
Sunday 13th December – Messy Church
Crafts & activities will be available to collect from church in the afternoon, and will be followed by a short live broadcast later on. Tickets will be available in near future on Eventbrite!
Sunday 20th December @ 11:30am – CTW Carol Service
Churches Together in Woodley (who we are a part of) have put together a joyful and collaborative carol service. It will feature music and readings from many of our churches, plus our wider community. It will be broadcast after morning worship on Facebook and Youtube.

Wednesday 23rd December @ 3-5pm – St James’ Tunnel of Light
In a first for St James’, we will be creating a tunnel of light! This means filling the Church Centre with lights and music to spread some Christmas joy to our local community. People will be able to walk through the church to enjoy the spectacle, and collect some Christingle kits ready for Christmas Eve. These kits are completely free, and can be pre-ordered via Eventbrite:
Christmas Eve @ 4pm – Christingle Making
Using the kits they’ve collected, people from all around Woodley (and beyond) will be joining Linda & Laurence for a special Christingle service online. Here we’ll be making our Christingles together, singing carols, watching our Nativity play, and more! This video will be broadcast on Youtube, with the link emailed to everyone who has booked.
Christmas Eve @ 11:30pm – Midnight Communion
We’re holding our annual Midnight Communion service at the church centre as normal! Due to the usual popularity of this act of worship, people hoping to attend will need to book tickets:

Christmas Day @ 10:00am – Christmas Celebration
Join us at the church centre for a short act of Christmas worship. You will need to book tickets in order to attend (using the link above). Bring along a Christmas gift to show everyone, and dress up in your most festive jumper! This service will also be live streamed on Facebook.
